How to chant purely
October 27 , 2007
Additionally,
one should become regulated in their
lifestyle. Simple living and high
thinking are the key ingredients to
gradually bringing the unbridled senses
and mind under control. The more we place
Krishna in the center of all our
activities, the less we will be
influenced by the modes of material
nature and the more we will not be
disturbed by mental agitation.

Your
understanding regarding Lord Krishna
position is correct, Krishna is the
original Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Karma Yoga
October 24 , 2007
Any activity
done with Krishna as the ultimate
beneficiary is devotional service, as
Krishna explains in the Bhagavad-gita at
the end of the fifth chapter. So when we
perform selfless service or work within
this world, the practice of karma yoga,
that is devotional service when the
service is done under Krishna's
direction. Since the teachings of
Bhagavad-gita are given by Krishna
personally to Arjuna that selfless
practice of karma yoga is naturally
devotional service.

October 24 , 2007
"Uttama"
means ultimate, topmost, top of the heap,
king of the hill, the very best, you get
my drift.
When we look at the different levels of advancement of Krishna's pure devotees, even though they are all pure in their desire to become Krishna's devotee and full surrender still there are distinctions. Read More...

Krishna's deity manifestation
October 23 , 2007
Regarding
Krishna's presence in His deity
manifestation, Krishna is personally
present. These is no difference between
worshiping Krishna in the deity or
worshiping Him directly. Because we do
not have spiritual vision due to our
material contamination, Krishna agrees to
accept our worship through the deity for
our benefit. This service is on the
transcendental platform and therefore
there is no distinction between our
worship of the deity, meditation on the
deity and remembrance of the diety, by
these spiritual activities on is serving
Krishna personally.

To preach or not to preach
October 23 , 2007
You are so
kind to go out of you way and teach
Krishna consciousness, this is the nature
of a devotee. A devotee will accept any
kind of adverse situation in order to
spread spiritual life, even at the cost
of personal hardship and difficulty.
Please do not be in anxiety over these
situations, but rather take full shelter
of Lord Krishna and to the best of your
ability try to explain this wonderful
philosophy and encourage everyone you can
to try to understand their true spiritual
nature.

Freedom from frustration

Krishna Consciousness is the solution to
all problems brought on by our
entanglement in this material world. So
for a solution we must become fully
knowledgeable of our position as
Krishna's eternal servant, and Krishna
position as the supreme enjoyer. Lord
Krishna states in the Bhagavad-gita that
we must understand Him as the beneficiary
of all sacrifices and austerities,

Strong faith vs fanaticism.
October 22 , 2007
The simple
answer is knowledge and realization. The
beginning of Krishna Consciousness is
faith, for without some faith in the
process of self realization presented by
Lord Krishna in Bhagavad-gita and
distributed by His sincere devotees
coming in the parampara, the disciplic
succession of bonafide spiritual masters,
one cannot advance in spiritual
life.
