Regarding Srimati Radharani
November 03 , 2007
Your
confusion arises from a misunderstanding
of the different personages both with the
name Abhimanyu. One Abhimanyu is the
nephew of Krishna in Dwaraka lila, and
the other is the wife of Radharani in
Vraja lila. As for Lord Brahma, his wife
is Sarasvati, not Radharani.

Becoming steady
November 03 , 2007
As we are in
the material world, where practically
everyone is forgetful of Krishna, we can
be easily overcome by the modes of
material nature due to bad association.
And as you have explained in your email,
this forgetfulness leads us away from
devotional service and constant
remembrance of Krishna and our true
spiritual nature. So we must constantly
practice bringing our renegade mind back
under the control of our spiritual self.
This is most easily accomplished by
absorption in chanting the maha
mantra

Solution to dirty mind
November 03 , 2007
Lord Krishna
explains in the Bhagavad-gita that the
mind can be controlled by constant
practice and detachment. Therefore we
must make a determined effort if we are
to be successful in bringing the restless
mind and senses under control. And as
Arjuna confided to Krishna, this appears
more difficult than controlling the
wind.

Importance of Kartik and Mangala Arati
November 01 , 2007
The
importance of the special occasions of
Mangala Arati and the months of Kartika
are the opportunity they provide for us
to remember Lord Krishna and engage in
His devotional service. Of course we
should offer prayers, worship, remember,
and surrender to Krishna continually,
however this very special times of day in

Self peace
October 30 , 2007
Krishna
states in the Bhagavad-gita that ones
mind is both the best of friends and ones
worst enemy, so what to do when the
contrary mind is becoming ones enemy.
Krishna explains that we must control the
mind, but control of the mind is not
possible if we do not adopt a lifestyle
of controlling the senses. So control of
the mind

Why is Krishna black
October 30 , 2007
Actually
Krishna manifests in a rainbow of various
colors when He appears in the material
world in His various incarnations. Why
His original form of Syamasundara in His
spiritual abode, Goloka Vrindaban, is
blackish like the rain cloud is
ultimately because of His independent
free will. Just as we have free will,
being infinitesimal parts of His
spiritual nature, He has free will to
manifest His divine spiritual form as He
desires. His blackish hue gives unlimited
spiritual bliss

Why care for the body, doesn't Krishna control everything
October 30 , 2007
Although a
devotee understands that ultimately
everything is fully dependent upon
Krishna's desire, he still works in such
a way as to properly maintain his
material existence. Understanding that we
are in this material world, but not of
this material world does not negate our
responsibilities in life. We are all
eternally servants of the Supreme Lord
who

Why chant Hare Krishna
October 30 , 2007
We are all
part and parcel of the Supreme
Personality of Godhead, Krishna. Because
of our constitutional position as an
infinitesimal particle of the Lords
unlimited spiritual potency we have the
same spiritual nature as Krishna,
eternality, knowledge and blissful
existence. Unfortunately, due to our
independent desire we are now situated in
His external material potency and
