Regarding Srimati Radharani
November 03 , 2007
Hare Krishna,
Your confusion arises from a misunderstanding of the different personages both with the name Abhimanyu. One Abhimanyu is the nephew of Krishna in Dwaraka lila, and the other is the wife of Radharani in Vraja lila. As for Lord Brahma, his wife is Sarasvati, not Radharani.
Aside from this slight confusion as explained above, we must remember that Krishna's pastimes are entirely on the transcendental platform. When Lord Krishna manifests in the material world to attract us by His divine pastimes, He is not subject to the laws of this material world. So even if there is some apparent discrepancy in moral behavior by the Supreme Lord, He always remains above such rules and regulations. His activities are always on the transcendental platform and supremely beneficial being full of wonderful benediction for all involved. So when hearing of His divine play with the Gopies of Vindaban we should never equate His dealings with those of the materially conditioned souls.
I hope this is helpful in your understanding.
Sincerely,
Dulal Chandra dasa
