Self peace

Hare Krishna.
Krishna states in the Bhagavad-gita that ones mind is both the best of friends and ones worst enemy, so what to do when the contrary mind is becoming ones enemy. Krishna explains that we must control the mind, but control of the mind is not possible if we do not adopt a lifestyle of controlling the senses. So control of the mind goes hand in hand with control of the senses. Unfortunately, in this day and age control of the senses is very difficult for we are bombarded constantly with enticements to eat, drink and be merry. Therefore Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the Golden avatar for this fallen age, has recommended that everyone take up the simple process of chanting the maha mantra
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
in order to easily control the mind, cleanse the heart of all material desire, and enjoy our eternal spiritual nature of eternity, knowledge and bliss.
This ultimate meditation technique if adopted by regulated daily practice will bring gradual awareness of your true spiritual nature, and relieve the agitated mind of all distress.
Sincerely,
