Krishna's deity manifestation
October 23 , 2007
Hare Krishna
so much for your inquiry regarding deity
worship.
Regarding Krishna's presence in His deity manifestation, Krishna is personally present. These is no difference between worshiping Krishna in the deity or worshiping Him directly. Because we do not have spiritual vision due to our material contamination, Krishna agrees to accept our worship through the deity for our benefit. This service is on the transcendental platform and therefore there is no distinction between our worship of the deity, meditation on the deity and remembrance of the diety, by these spiritual activities on is serving Krishna personally.
This worship is done as directed in the Narada Pancaratna system of deity worship and fully respectful, formal and with all regulation in awe and veneration as one would worship Laxmi Narayan. In this way we can gradually purity ourselves and rise to the platform of spontaneous devotion while externally still worshiping formally according to guru parampara.
So we must continue worship, service and association with Krishna in His arca manifestation for this will gradually purify us, then we will have practical realization all these spiritual truths.
Thanking your for your kind inquiry, I hope this find you enlivened in your spiritual life.
Sincerely,
Dulal Chandra dasa
