We do not discriminate.

Hare Krishna.
Yes you are correct, there is no discrimination in the Krishna consciousness movement. Spiritual life is a natural function of the soul, irrespective of the temporary designations created by the particular body one has acquired due to the laws of nature (karma). We invite everyone to take to this wonderful process of self realization by participation in the simple programs of festivals, lectures and feasting offered at our temples situated throughout the world. Additionally we have many traveling festivals, especially in Europe, where everyone is welcomed.
Krishna consciousness is based upon the teaching of the Veda's which offer a perfect solution to the problems of material existence and elevation to the topmost realization of spiritual life. To that end there are certainly social distinctions made for the proper maintenance of all members of society in a way that is most peaceful and conducive to spiritual advancement. Unfortunately these social conventions of Vedic culture are sometimes misunderstood as discrimination by the less intelligent class of men. The is sometimes propaganda that this Krishna Consciousness movement is sexist because of the natural protection our society offers women by encouraging marriage as opposed to the so called equal rights we see today in many societies today. However, upon close inspection we can see that so called equal rights for women simply results in a society where men do not take responsibility in family life and simply exploit women.
I request that you take a serious look at this Krishna consciousness movement for you will finds a philosophy that is both spiritually rich and fully practical in its approach to material administration.
The depth of your question is such that I cannot fully address it one email, however I hope I have provided some insight.
Again my thanks of your inquiry.
Sincerely,
Dulal Chandra dasa
